Three new fine art infrared photography Blue Ridge Mountains pictures have been added to the online fine art photography gallery.

The three Blue Ridge Parkway pictures include traditional, black & white and abstract stylings of infrared photography prints.

The images, taken along the Blue Ridge Parkway, show a well-known

tree.  The twisted, gnarly tree is located directly across the parkway from the information center in the Rocky Knob area.

The aged tree is beautiful and known by many familiar with the parkway.  Unfortunately, the tree fell victim to the brutal ice and wind storms of the 2009-2010 winter and suffered damage.  Surgery was performed and some of its major limbs were cut off.  These infrared images were captured before the most recent damage.  Prints can be purchased in the Picture North Carolina online fine art gallery.
